Virginia Sport Fishing Variety
Depending on the season, Chuck's Charters offers a wide variety of
Virginia sport fishing excursions. Early aand late in the season,
the emphasis is on big, Virginia stripers (rockfish) with some catches
exceeding the 40 or even 50 lb. mark! Summer is the time for
chumming, bottom fishing and trolling
Fast, Modern Boats
Chuck's Charters features two boats to get you to the most productive
Virginia fishing locations in speed and comfort. The "Sea Fox" and
"Sonya B" are sleek, modern vessels designed for Northern Neck fishing
conditions and the rigors of the Atlantic Ocean. With two vessels
on hand, Captain O'Bier can accommodate even the largest groups.

Moving with the Seasons
Captain O'Bier shifts his Virginia sport fishing operations from
the Northern Neck and the Chesapeake Bay to the Atlantic Ocean off
Virginia Beach in December. This change of venue enables his
clients to extend the Virginia fishing season well into the winter.
In Mid April, Capt. O'Bier returns to the Northern Neck in order to take
advantage of the early Maryland striper (rockfish) season.
